VNNO was established by Anjana Kothari in 2015 with 5 members and begin training 25 women towards an independent future. Back in 2015, When the idea of VNNO was hatched, for doing something for the upliftment jain women.

Anjana Dinesh Kothari

Founder & Chairperson, VNNO Women Welfare

Anjana Dinesh Kothari founded VNNO (Vallabh Nari Niketan Organization) in 2015 with just 25 women, and it has since empowered over 50,000 women through training, mentorship, and financial support. VNNO has conducted over 600 live and 200 online workshops on diverse topics such as cooking, arts, yoga, personality development, e-education, and business marketing, helping over 200,000 women, many of whom have transformed their skills into thriving businesses.

In addition to empowering women, VNNO has been involved in social awareness and environmental protection initiatives, including a book exchange project during the COVID-19 pandemic, which benefited over 1,200 students.

Anjana’s leadership stems from her upbringing in a disciplined middle-class family and her experience in private coaching. This background now helps her guide thousands of women toward self-reliance.

VNNO continues to expand, with plans to establish more zones across Mumbai and its suburbs. Stories of empowered women can be seen on the VNNO Women Welfare Facebook page.
